He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Ernewein and Mildred Ernewein; his brothers, Jake, Chuck and Bob; and his son Scott Burnett.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Faley Ernewein; his sons, Bruce Ernewein (Erin), Brian Ernewein (Carrie), Robert Burnett (Rebecca) and Matthew Burnett (Kate); his grandchildren, Jessica Jones, Erica Butler, Justin Stacey, Alyssa DiCarlo, Alex Burnett, Madelyn, Ryan and Amy Burnett; and his great grandchildren, Presleigh, Dawson Jones, Eloise, Clara Butler, Aryan Stacey and Lucas DiCarlo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
