We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2023, at the age of 73, Mayta J. Work of Lakewood, New York, born in Jamestown, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Johnson and Mary Ellis Johnson; her close friend Bob Hanson; her sons, Kenny Work and Marvin Work, Jr.; and her aunt Ann Ellis.

She is survived by: her children, Jim Work (Kellie) and Audra Engle; her grandchildren, Jacob Work, Tiffany Work, Crystal Work, Jaydon Work, Aaron Parker, Frankie Engle and Hannah Engle; and her sister Merle Austin (Steve).
