With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet C. Lindell of Lakewood, New York, born in Jamestown, New York, who passed away on August 5, 2021 at the age of 45. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Sherwood, Ruth Johnson, Paul E. and Elizabeth Blood; her uncles, Roger Johnson and David Blood; and her aunt Molly Blood Westover.

She is survived by: her parents, Ronald S. Johnson and Kate Johnson of Ashville, NY; her husband James E. Lindell; her children, Tyler Cappa (Emily Rensel) of Las Vegas, NV, Callie Lindell and Andrew Lindell; and her siblings, Maggie Testa of Erie, PA, Jessie Certo (Chris) of Lakewood, NY and Andrew Johnson (Lindsey) of Westfield, NY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Janet Lindell Scholarship Fund, c/o Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, 418 Spring St. Jamestown, NY 14701.
