Jane L. Abersold Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane L. Abersold of Lakewood, New York, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward A. Vollentine and Fern L. Simpson Vollentine; her husband Elwood R. Abersold; and her brothers, Howard, Ralph and Harold Vollentine.

She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Hoyer of Jamestown, NY and Cindy Abersold Ferraro of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Adam Carlson of Panama, NY, Krista Shellenberger of Stafford, VA, Heather Nocero of Bemus Point, NY, Alyssa Carlson of Jamestown, NY and Alexandra Ferraro of St. Petersburg; and her sister Barbara Barmore of Mayville, NY.. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, one great great grandson.

Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home where social distancing will be observed and masks must be worn.
