It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W. Whitermore of Lakewood, New York, born in Jamestown, New York, who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hamilton Whitermore and Lois Whitermore; and his wife Nancy Edson. He is survived by: his children, Greg Whitermore (Laurie) of Bemus Point, NY, Brad Whitermore (Elena) of Stockholm, Sweden, Thomas Whitermore (Marcie Fraser) of Saratoga Springs, NY and Carolyn Thurman of Macon, MO; his grandchildren, Colin Whitermore, Allison Johnson (Alex), Dalton Thurman, Conner Thurman (Victoria), Wyatt Thurman, Chad Whitermore, Holly Whitermore and Livia Whitermore; his great grandchildren, Owen, Emme Johnson, Brody, Ty and Addison Whitermore; and his brother Fred Whitermore of Wisconsin.
