We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2020, at the age of 90, Francis J. Moynihan of Lakewood, New York, born in Jamestown, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Moynihan and Frances Johnson Moynihan; his brother Berkley Moynihan; his brother-in-law Edward Gallagher; his nephew Matthew McGilll; and his niece Jennifer Moynihan.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jackson Moynihan; his sons, Francis "Casey" Moynihan III (Pat) of Lakewood and Steven "Bear" Moynihan (Gena) of Jamestown; his grandchildren, Christina Anderson (Marvin) of Ashville, Heather Anderson (Rodney) of Ashville, Shawn Abbey (Michelle) of Ashville, Amanda Bower of Middletown, MD and Lacy; his great grandchildren, Sasha, Cody, Johnathon, Gavin, Wyatt, Josh, Trenton, Vinnie, Leo, Odin and Val; his sister Barbara Gallagher of Lincoln Park, NJ; his nieces, Martha Holt (Bill), Kathy McGill, Bonnie McGurn, Paula Schneider and Margaret Arthur; and his nephew Patrick Moynihan. He is also survived by six great great grandchildren.
