William R. Swanson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William R. Swanson of Lake View, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 20, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy William leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the John J Kaczor Funeral Home, Inc. (5453 Southwestern Blvd, Hamburg, NY 14075). A Mass was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Paul II Parish (2052 Lakeview Rd, Lake View, NY 14085). An entombment was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (2900 South Park Ave, Lackawanna, NY 14218).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bill's name to the Buffalo City Mission or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
