He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karen Gross; his children, William H. Gross III (Christina) and Leah Van Hoff (Thomas); his grandsons, Michael W. Van Hoff, William H. Gross IIII and Andrew T. Van Hoff; his siblings, Ruthann Hockenberger, Renee Combe (Stuart), Denise Sceusa (late Kenneth), Michael Reynolds, Shawn Gronachan (Kathy) and Keith Reynolds (Margaret); his parents-in-law, Gerald and Lorraine Soltis; and his brother-in-law Kevin Soltis (Anita). He was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews.
