She was predeceased by: her husband Michael A. Sullivan, Sr.; her daughter Kathleen Kornowski (D. J.); and her sibling Jean Hertlein (late Joseph). She is survived by: her sons, Patrick (late Susan), Timothy (Michelle) and Michael A. Jr. (Catherine); her grandchildren, Sabrina, Sheila, Nicholas, Audrey, Molly, Timothy, Jr., Colleen, Caitlin, Emily, Nathan, Jason, Ashley, Meghan, Morgan and Michael A. III; and her sibling Laurel Meaney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Sullivan donated her body to the UB Anatomical Gift Program. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice Foundation of WNY.
