He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Preston and Helen Preston (Jenny) of Lake Placid, NY.; his wife Virginia; his daughter Tammie; and his sisters, Elaine, Arvella and Maryellen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Austin Preston Jr., Ralph Preston Sr., Mildred, Beverly, Karen and Cindy; his children, Helen Cooney and Richard Preston Jr.; and his brothers, George, Loren, Bill and Jimmy.
