It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Marie Tiblis (Lake Placid, New York), born in Auburn, New Hampshire, who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Middaugh and Ruth Middaugh (Bancker); her husband John E. Gillespie "Jack"; her former husband Joseph Carl Patnode; and her sister Kathy Lamay Smart.
She is survived by: her brother Thomas Meehan of Georgia; her daughters, Jean Gillespie Darrah (Thomas Darrah) of Saranac Lake, NY, Sandra Gillespie Cimbrec (John Cimbrec) of Plattsburgh, NY and Carol Gillespie Eldridge (William "Sarge" Eldridge) of Bloomingdale, NY.; her grandchildren, Aaron Gillespie of Ray Brook, NY, Chelsea Sheefer (Matt Garrant) of Peru, NY and Amanda Cartier (Aziatic Cordes) of Plattsburgh, NY.; her great grandchildren, Ariana Elmore of Plattsburgh, NY, Amir Cartier of Plattsburgh, NY and Jeremiah Hauser of Peru, NY.; her son Joseph Carl Patnode Jr. (Tena Euber) of Saranac Lake, NY.; and her grandchildren, Gabrielle Patnode (Joseph Butler) of Aspen and Oliver Patnode.
