It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Allan Hood of Lake Placid, New York, who passed away on January 17, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Andrew Allan Hood to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hood and Elizabeth Whelan Hood; his sister Maureen; and his grandson Jeffrey. He is survived by: his wife Virginia (Jini); his children, Andrew Hood, Teresa Wright (Joe), Dennis Hood (Cindy), James Hood (Theresa) and Robert Hood (Tracy); his grandchildren, Alex (Laura), Kevin (Jenny), Victoria, Kayleigh, Thomas (Lucy), Cameron and Meghan Hood; and his great grandchildren, Alex Jr., Violet Hood and Kailey Gray.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (169 Hillcrest Ave, Lake Placid, NY 12946). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Agnes Catholic Church (169 Hillcrest Ave, Lake Placid, NY 12946).
