He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Bessman and Stephania Helnarski. He is survived by: his wife Florence Bessman; and his children, John Bessman, Jr. and Susan Florsch (Brett Herbert). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
