It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Inez Crews (Lake Katrine, New York), born in Hogansville, Georgia, who passed away on May 7, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Columbus Harris and Mamie Harris (Jones); and her siblings, Rosetta Hicks, Carrie Hinton, Bertha Thomas, Ruby Kate, Charles Harris and Buddy Harris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jacqueline Simmons of Kingston and Marie Crews; and her grandchildren, Darlene, Tahisha and Kenneth. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
In the interest of public safety and in accordance with New York State's Executive Order in response to coronavirus, the service and burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens, NY, will be held privately.
