She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur DeSantis and Helen DeSantis (Romano); and her husband Joseph Cacopardo. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Potter of Port Ewen, Lori Cacopardo of Lake Katrine and Jodi Stokdal of Kingston; her sisters, Anna Fernandez (Frank) of Gloversville and Marie Zinter (Lawrence) of Saratoga, NY; her grandchildren, Kyle Woerner, Leah Woerner, Kaare Stokdal, Karissa Stokdal and Brooke Potter; and her great grandchild Avianna Woerner.
In her final years, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, but always had a smile for all; ultimately passed due to Covid-19.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Dee's memory to: alz.org , Alzheimer's Association.
