He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion A Tanner and Edreia P Tanner; his wife Theresa Mae Holmes; and his sisters, Agnes and Beverly.
He is survived by: his stepsons, David L of Cortland and James E (Thomas Mingo) of Erie, PA; his grandchildren, Kristina Tanner Furi of Cortland and Patrick D Tanner (Crystal) of Mauldin, SC; his great grandchildren, Zahara of Cortland, Roman of Cortland, Viviana of Cortland, Isabella of Cortland and Etta Petrella of Cortland; and his friend Joanne Tanner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
