With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Lamphier of Lake George, New York, born in Verona, New York, who passed away on February 14, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lamphier and Eva Lamphier (Starring); his wife Irene Lamphier; his daughter Darlene Rathbun; his grandson John Smith; and his daughter-in-law Denise Smith.
He is survived by: his children, David Lamphier of Lake George, Marshall Lamphier of Stony Creek and Cheryl Kenyon (Marc) of Thurman; his grandchildren, Marc Jr., David, Jason, Andrea, Marshall Jr. and Brittany; his siblings, Carol Beckwith and Paul Lamphier; and his friend Gayle Brailey of Warrensburg. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
