He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Shea and Pearl Shea (Marion Grogan); his sisters, Kathleen Pardus (Shea) and Maureen Shannon (Jane Shea); and his sister-in-law Michele Ferraro (Shelly LaFay).
He is survived by: his wife Gale Diane Shea (LaFay); his daughter Bridgette Jude Shea (Nathan D. Solomon) of Saratoga Springs; his brother John Shea (Sandra Shea, family: Kevin Shannon, Erin Reilly, Kim Daley, MaryEllen Capasso, Kathy Sample) of Cohoes; and his brothers-in-law, John Pardus, Bill Shannon (John William) and Kelly Shea-Mohan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marra Funeral Home (246 Remsen St, Cohoes, NY 12047). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (122 Vliet Blvd, Cohoes, NY 12047).
