He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frederick Shellard and Helen Mackey Shellard; and his brother Jack F. Shellard (late Marianne) of Latham. He is survived by: his wife Mary J. O'Keeffe Shellard; his children, Frederick W. Shellard (Michele) of Niskayuna, Nora T. Toftegaard (John) of Scotia and Christopher J. Shellard (Jacqueline) of Rochester, NY; his grandchildren, Alessandra Shellard, John, Meghan Toftegaard, Colin, Madeleine and Daniel Shellard; and his brother Gerald Shellard (Susan) of Clifton Park. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
