She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Babin and Emelia Babin (Rouet); her husband Clayton H. Carter; and her sisters, Roseann, Edith and Christina.
She is survived by: her children, Creighton (Cherry), Barbara, Sandra and Linda. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
