Sheila Williams Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Williams of Lake Carmel, New York, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Moriarty and Irene Moriarty (Walsh) of Flatbush, Brooklyn.; and her siblings, Donald, Patrick Moriarty and Eleanor Culley.

She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Williams; her daughter Courtney Williams; her son-in-law Erik Lindberg of Peekskill; her daughter Meghan Williams; her son-in-law Joe Ladson of Somers; her grandchildren, Bernadette Ladson, Gunnar and Irene Lindberg; and her niece Kate. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Alzheimer's Association to address the gross lack of funding for research, aid for patients and families, and coverage for long-term care; or to The Catskills Center to protect and share the mountains she loved.
