In the sacred silence of farewell, Ruth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ruth's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melchior Lizotte and Catherine R. Lizotte (Matranga); and her brother Medard Lizotte. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her sisters, Fredolina Iamecelli of Mahopac, NY and Anette Fischer of California; and her friends, John and Donna Hitsman of Lagrangeville. She is also survived by three children, one stepson, six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, many cousins and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at the Scott D. Conklin Funeral Home (37 Park Ave, Millerton, NY 12546).
