He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bobby Scarpelli and Diane Genovese. He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his son Peter; his daughter-in-law Kaitlin Scarpelli of Poughkeepsie; his son Justin A.; his daughter-in-law Susan Scarpelli of Hyde Park; his daughter Sara L.; his son-in-law Manuel Portela of Poughkeepsie; his grandchildren, Elle, Lia, Nicolas, Alex, Penelope and Vitorino; and his nieces and nephews, Joseph Genovese of North Carolina, Ralph Maresca of New York, Gina Near Pleasant Valley, Jason Scarpelli of Arizona and Laurin Scarpelli of Arizona.
