With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George A Lane of LaFayette, New York, who passed away on January 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude. He is survived by: his children, Michael Lane (Janet) of LaFayette and Stacey Lane-Sauve (Jay) of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Kara Lane of LaFayette, NY, Chelsea Wright (Greg) of Jordan, NY, Erich Parker (Rachel) of Powhatan, VA. and Novella Faith Parker; his brothers, Eugene Armani (Anna), Gerald Armani (Marilyn) and Fred Armani; and his friend Terry McElwain. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hollis Funeral Home (1105 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY 13204). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Family Church (127 Chapel Dr, Syracuse, NY 13219). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (200 Salisbury Rd, Syracuse, NY 13219).
