He is survived by: his close friend Cindy L. Helmer; his children, Mike Schnauber (Patty), Julie McFall and Tricia Schnauber; his stepgrandchildren, Johnna, Dereck and Jacob; his siblings, James R. Schnauber (Patti Wood) of Clayton, Donald J. Schnauber (Babette Hall) of Clayton and Kathryn A. Dwyer (Gary); and also Jeff Helmer (Helen). He is also survived by four grandchildren.
