He is survived by: his parents, George Scales and Linda Brigham Scales of LaFargeville, NY; his wife Barbara J. McCarter; his sons, David (Chelsea McCarter) and Germany; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Kylie and David III; his mother-in-law Barbara Thompson of LaFargeville, NY; his siblings, George McCarter of LaFargeville, NY, Michelle Scales of Depauville, NY, George Scales of Cortland, NY and Robert; his sister-in-law Genesis Scales of Alexandria Bay, NY; and his pets, Little Miss and Buster. He is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
