It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Widrig in Lacona, New York, born in Lorraine, New York, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferd Casler and Edith Zufelt Casler; her husband Victor; and her siblings, Jenny, Robert, Irene Robbins, Hazel Backus, Winford, Delphine McNitt, Dorothy Comstock, Arnold, Allen and Vivian Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Witham (Alden) of Cherry Valley, NY, Diane Mills of Elbridge, NY and Alan Widrig (Alice) of Boylston; her sister Marilyn Bisig of Rodman, NY; and her sister-in-law Elaine Widrig of Woodville, NY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, an organization for which she campaigned for many years.
