He is survived by: his wife Helene Cavanaugh; his children, Timothy Wizner (Glenda), Patrick Cavanaugh (Charlene), Lynette Sikorski (Richard) and Robert Cavanaugh (Shannon); his grandchildren, Michael Wizner, Anthony Wizner, Ashley Wizner, Halie Wizner, Jessica Cavanaugh and Nora Cavanaugh; his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Damien, Salvatore, Nathan and Allison; and his brother Michael Cavanaugh. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
A Mass was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Queen of Angels Parish (144 Warsaw St, Lackawanna, NY 14218). A burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (2900 South Park Ave, Lackawanna, NY 14218).
