He was predeceased by: his brother Walter (late Lillian); and his friend Kurt Sajda (Amy). He is survived by: his spouse MaryLee Melohusky; his children, Cheryl Stephens, Joseph and George Melohusky (Emma); his siblings, Robert, Janet Pluta (late Gene) and James Melohusky; and his friends, Eddie, Pam and Andrew Pawenski. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
