He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen "Kay" Martinez; his parents, Jose M. Martinez and Mary Martinez; and his siblings, Richard (Sylvia), Lawrence (late Mary Anne), Julius, Patricia Renik (late Dan), Paul (Arlene), David and Katherine Smith (late Don).
He is survived by: his sons, William (Paula), Daniel L. (Christine) and Jason M. (Jeanna); his grandchildren, William M. "Sonny", Daniel J. "DJ", Madison, Olivia and Michael; and his siblings, Leonard (late Charlene), Gloria, Mary, Daniel (Joan), Phillip (Bonnie) and Matthew. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
