She was predeceased by: her former husband Francis "Hawk" Amrozowicz; and her parents, Mary Piekarski and Casimir Piekarski. She is survived by: her husband Salvatore Monaco; her children, Nadine Murphy (Tom Corsi), Deborah Kukoleca (Randall), Michael Amrozowicz (Marta), Schotzie, Brian Lakso (Michelle), Todd Zielinski (Cheryl), Krystle Pasquarella (Nicholas), Sara Amrozowicz, Mariah Murphy, Natalie Amrozowicz and Anthony Amrozowicz; and her sister Jeanne Nowicki (Stephen).
Memorial donations may be made in Irene's name to the Alzheimer's Association of WNY.
