She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony R. Capasso; and her parents, John Pienta and Rose Pienta. She is survived by: her children, Gary Capasso (Linda), Dean Capasso and Doreen Evans (Paul); her grandchildren, Mario Capasso (Jessica Brzezinski), Kyle Evans (Jocelyn), Max Evans and Jason Harned (Quincy); her great grandchildren, Amina Evans and Zachary Harned; and her brother John "Butch" Pienta (late Carolyn). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John J. Kaczor Funeral Home, Inc. - Blasdell (3450 South Park Ave, Buffalo, NY 14219). A Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Our Lady of Victory Basilica (767 Ridge Rd, Lackawanna, NY 14218). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (2900 South Park Ave, Lackawanna, NY 14218).
