He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Wheeler; his sons, Daniel Wheeler and Donald Wheeler (Cathy); his parents, Lyle Wheeler and Madge Wheeler; and his siblings, Iona Grimsley (late Oliver), Phyllis Staymates, Jacqueline Bastedo, Jason Wheeler, Bronson Wheeler (Audrey), James Wheeler, Mayo Wheeler and Donald Wheeler (late Colleen).

He is survived by: his child Dale Wheeler (Dolly); his daughter-in-law Tami Schiemant (Scott); his grandchildren, Erik Wheeler (Laura), Amanda Buccitelli (Drew), Erin Wheeler, Timothy Wheeler (Kate), Abigail Zarefoss (Frank), Bret Wheeler, Kyle Wheeler (Lisa) and Cara Wheeler (Josh Griffin); and his sister Brenda LoBocchiaro (late Joseph). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
