We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2025, at the age of 86, Barbara A. Kaminski of Lackawanna, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley "Doc" Kaminski; her parents, John Bartus and Emily Bartus; and her siblings, Joan Dillon (late Richard) and Robert Bartus (late Kathleen).

She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Walsh (Phil), Debra Hurley (Jim) and Donna Rydza (Rick); and her grandchildren, Jillian, Erin, Allison, Emily, Kim, Emma, Brittany and Matthew. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John J. Kaczor Funeral Home, Inc. - Blasdell (3450 South Park Ave, Buffalo, NY 14219). A prayer was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church (3148 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (2900 South Park Ave, Lackawanna, NY 14218).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Kaminski's name to the Hospice Foundation of WNY.

“My favorite aunt and last Kaminski grandparents, uncles and aunts. Bunny as she was called was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and a true disciple of Jesus. She cared for others and her marriage to Doc was made in heaven. She had strong roots in her Polish heritage and it was a joy to see she and Doc dance the polka. She fulfilled her vows to love Doc in sickness and health, rich or poor and lovingly cared for him when he was ill. May she rest in peace. Joe”
