She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Brian F. Schmitt; her children, Sarah A. Schmitt (Matthew H. Krupp), Benjamin C. Schmitt and Daniel W. Boechel; her parents, Mary Grace and Robert Thomas Boechel; her siblings, Ellen Simson (Bill), Robert M. Boechel (Bonnie) and Thomas E. Boechel; and her granddaughter Juliana R. Krupp. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and many friends.
