She was predeceased by: her husband Charles E. Spiess; her close friend Jessie Walker; and her son Bruce W. Spiess. She is survived by: her sister Jean; her daughters, Leslie Chilson (Carter) and Janet Haskins (James); and her grandchildren, Shannon Farrell, Scott Spiess, Colleen Donovan Lafrenz, Bridget Donovan and Jennifer Haskins. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
