He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Stewart and Olive Stewart; his sister Hilda Aucelli; and his wife Alice. He is survived by: his children, Paul Stewart (Sue) of Vienna, VA, Brad Stewart of Bridgeport, NY and Lori Messina (John) of East Syracuse; his grandchildren, John, Jr. Messina (Stacey), Jason Messina (Stephany), Jeremy, Jessica Messina, Cameron and Garrett Stewart; and his great grandchildren, John III, Chiara and Anthony Messina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
