We bid farewell to Doris A. Blydenburgh (Kirkville, New York), born in Brookfield, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2025 at the age of 87. Doris touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Crumb and Ruth McIntyre Crumb; her husband William Blydenburgh; her son Ryan Blydenburgh; and her siblings, Inez Crumb Washburn, Alan and Velma Crumb.
She is survived by: her sister Linda McEvoy; her children, Gary Blydenburgh (Heidi) and Erin Greco (Giuseppe); and her grandchildren, Isabella, William Greco, Kevin, Christopher Blydenburgh and Alexis Blydenburgh.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the R. H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel (6530 Schepps Corners Rd, Kirkville, NY 13082). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
During her years as a nurse, Doris worked with Alzheimer's patients in a nursing home, in a NICU, as civilian nurse to military families children in Europe, and as a traveling nurse providing homecare in rural areas when back in the states.
