He was predeceased by: his wife Katherina; and his siblings, Stanley, John, Thomas and Marion.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa (Jeffrey Tanis) of Albany, Michael of Kirkville and Stephen (Donald Sears) of Fulton; his grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Caelin and Mia; his brothers, Richard of Wexford, PA and Lawrence (Mary Ellen) of Rome; his sister-in-law Blanche of Leesburg, FL; and also Annemarie Haney (Ralph) of Elbridge. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
