He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Twyford and Jean Van Riper Twyford; and his son Alex Byrd. He is survived by: his close friend Doreen Dunbar of Kingston; his siblings, Edward Twyford (Dawn) of Colonia, NJ and Jane Schwartz (Michael) of Rahway, NJ; and his granddaughter London Zachery.
