He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Ruff and Margaret Alt Levy (Ruff). He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Ruff (Sameer); his granddaughters, Raina and Shyla; his former wife Arlene Sharrett Ruff; and also Nancy Mercer (Ruff).
