He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Edge and Mary Edge (Scully); his daughter Linda Ferraro; and his sister Bernice Pritchard. He is survived by: his wife Helen Edge (Rose) of Kingston; his children, Robert Edge, Jr. (Lori) of Port Ewen, Barbara Hertle (John) of Kingston, Susan Hollenzer (Phil) of Florida and Richard Robbins (Irene) of Warwarsing; his son-in-law Steve Ferraro of Florida; his grandchildren, Dana Hollenzer, Julie Palleschi, Kimberly Berendt, Michele Ortiz, Samantha Robbins, Brittany Brocco and John Hertle, IV; his sister Jeanne Patterson; and his nephews, William Smith and Bob. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service - Kingston (326 Albany Ave, Kingston, NY 12401). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at the Montrepose Cemetery (75 Montrepose Ave, Kingston, NY 12401).
