She was predeceased by: her parents, Willem Brybag and Elfriede Brybag; her husband Arnold Guercio; and her sister Anneke Vignapiano. She is survived by: her children, Jason Guercio and Lisa Miller (Richard); her grandchildren, Ashlee, Ricky, Ethan Miller and Carter Guercio; her siblings, Errol Brybag (Stephanie), Lillian Postma (Leslie), Patricia McCann (Frank), William Brybag (Erika Tempelhoff), Ilse Ciprich (Randy) and Joseph Brybag (Samantha); and her brother-in-law Ronald Vignapiano.

“I want to extend my heart felt condolences to Rieke's family. Rieke worked for me for many years as the caregiver for my mother, Eva. Rieke and my mother loved each other, and Rieke was a blessing for both us and my mother. She and my Mom would always be laughing together, and making jokes, entertaining each other like kids! Sometimes my husband and I could not sleep because they were laughing so louldy and so long! A beautiful woman - we are terribly saddened about her passing. God will bless”
