He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Joyce and Mary Joyce (Lombardi). He is survived by: his wife Rita Kunkel Joyce (Kunkel) of Kingston; his children, John Christopher Joyce of Guilderland and Elizabeth Mary Joyce Zabatta (Matthew Zabatta) of Somerville, MA; his sister Kathryn Joyce; and his in-laws, Mary Therese Murray, Jerome Kunkel, Virginia Kunkel, Maureen Fogarty (Joseph), Rosemary Pollard (Russ Stevenor) and Christine Conolly (Michael). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
