He is survived by: his children, Ralph Appa, Jr. (Metra) of Idaho and Lynn Harnischfeger (Gary) of Kingston; his grandchildren, Ashley Markowski (Chris) of Colonie, Travis Harnischfeger (Spenser) of Kingston, Weston and Cody Appa of Idaho; his wife Joan; and his brother Samuel.
