He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar F. Ahrens Sr. and Rosalind Ahrens (Winters); and his siblings, Paulette Yarter, Linda Eighmey and Vincent Ahrens.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Ahrens (Oilda Barreto) of Port Ewen, NY and Kathryn Ahrens-D'Aragona (Nicholas) of Highland, NY.; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Yarter of Carthage, SC and Doug Eighmey of West Hurley, NY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews he loved.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. (27 Smith Ave, Kingston, NY 12401). The inurnment was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Montrepose Cemetery (75 Montrepose Ave, Kingston, NY 12401).
