It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michaela Bonse (Kingston, New York), who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald DeGroat and Elizabeth DeGroat (Decker); her husband Butch; and also Augustus "Butch" Bonse. She is survived by: her children, Gilbert Hartrum Jr. (Sara), Helena Parker, Lilly Bonse (Scotia) and Wendybeth Bonse (Joel); her stepdaughter Lisa Bonse; her siblings, June DeAngelis, Samuel DeGroat Sr., Donna Cline, Elaine DeGroat and Alfred Decker; and her sister-in-law Joan Amato. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
