He is survived by: his children, Marshell K. Byrd III and Marquita Byrd; his girlfriend Frances "Tweetie" Mandville; his siblings, Dwight Howard Byrd (Peggy), Maureen C. Byrd-Blue (John), Chrystal Y. Byrd, Lynette F. Byrd, Madia R. Brown and Rozelle Q. Magee (Roderick); his grandchildren, Aamoni, Ava, A'ashton, Denise, Dasiah (Twins), Keeley, Jamir, JaKobe and Jabari; and his close friend Bruce Brown.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. (27 Smith Ave, Kingston, NY 12401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Montrepose Cemetery (75 Montrepose Ave, Kingston, NY 12401).
