He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edwards Sr. and Elizabeth Edwards Sr.; his brother Stevie Sr.; and his nephew Stevie Jr.. He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Jefferson (Pat); his daughters, Mecca and Alesha; his stepdaughters, LaShawn, Monique, Anastasia and Takima; and his brothers, Sydney, David, Moses and Freddy. He is also survived by niece, nephews, and grandchildren.
