He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rost and Anna Rost; and his furry sidekick Chunky. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Mawhirt; his children, Susan Christopher (Tom), Patricia Giammichele (Mark) and Joseph Jr.; his grandchildren, Alexander, Madelyn, Ethan, Elizabeth, James, Christopher, Katherine, Arielle, Candace, Robert and Madeleine; and his great grandchildren, Vivian and Joel.
